The Knicks, with 28 seconds left, pass the ball to McBride, who makes a free-throw line jumper to extend the lead to 6. 76ers call timeout. By then, me and my family were cheering like crazy, thinking that we were moving on to the conference semifinals. As they bring the ball up, the unthinkable happens. Tyrese Maxey, who was already having a crazy game, hit an and-1 three. He made the free-throw. Then, the 76ers foul smartly foul Josh Hart, who is not a great free-throw shooter. He misses the first, a crucial mistake. He luckily makes the second, taking the lead to 3. This is the craziest moment. Maxey gets the ball from the in-bounder with 8 seconds left and shoots a logo territory three. It. Goes. In. Madison Square Garden is stunned. There’s no time to mourn. Jalen Brunson drives all the way and shoots to win, and it, hits the top of the backboard?!?! This means overtime.

The Sixers win the jump ball to start the extended time. But it doesn’t matter. The Knicks give it to Brunson, who hits a three. Maxey goes in for a layup, but misses. The ball is passed to Brunson, who makes a two-pointer to take the lead by 5. As usual, Maxey responds. He shoots a step-back three, and it goes in. The Knicks get it, and pass it to Brunson, who this time misses the three. Kelly Oubre gets it, and misses the layup, but Embiid, who had a bad game, is right there. OG Anunoby fouls him right when he was shooting. Embiid misses the first free-throw, but makes the second. The Knicks are now only up by one. What happens next is a crazy sequence. With 2:42 left in OT, Jalen misses yet another three, and Nicholas Batum rebounds it. He makes a bad pass to Maxey, and Brunson steals it. Josh Hart missed an important jump shot, and the ball is quickly passed to Oubre, who dunks it. In the end, Brunson makes a bad pass, and the game is over.

The 76ers are still losing 3-2 in the series, and there’s not much to talk about except the fact that Bojan Bogdanovic is injured for the rest of the playoffs. Game 6 will be in 76er stadium, but you and I know that there would be a lot of Knicks fans. The Knicks just got tired in the end. They will have to keep fighting and move on. The Bucks also won, even without Dame and Giannis. KNICKS FOREVER
